Our Swimming Classes - designed to suit you and your child

• We comply with the highest level of the AQUATOTS Ⓡ franchise stringent requirements.  All our teachers have undergone rigorous training and are highly experienced.
•  Our indoor, heated pool was specially built to teach the swimming program. It is 5m x 6m, with a depth of 1.2m so it is easy for parents to stand while assisting their children.
• The Aquatots Swim Program is a sing-song parent-tot group approach to teaching toddler swimming skills in a loving and fun-filled environment.  Tuition is through the parent who generally accompanies the child in the water.  On average there are six parent-tot pairs in the group. The lesson are 30 minutes in duration. The inherent potential of toddlers is encouraged and developed through songs and games in the aquatic environment in much the same way that it is encouraged and developed in their natural environment. Toddlers are given the opportunity to master an aquatic environment simply by exposing them to it and by allowing them to constructively play in it.

• The Learn to Swim program is for children of 3 years and older.
• The parents do not get in the pool for these lessons.
• The Learn to Swim program is endorsed by Swim South Africa.
• Our experienced and fully qualified teachers take the children from the very basics of swimming through to independent free swimming in all four of the competitive strokes.
• Classes are in groups of 2, 3 or 4 depending on the child’s swimming ability.
• Lessons are 30 minutes.
• The Learn to Swim pool is indoor and heated.  
• There are separate change rooms for boys and girls.
• All our teachers hold Heart Savers and First Aid certificates.

The first step in pre-stroke correction which bridges the gap between Learn to Swim and traditional stroke correction.  The intensity will increase as the swimmers move through the different levels. 

• These are more focused on addressing each individual’s needs and achieving goals set by the individual. The goal maybe to be confident the next time you go to the beach, to improve your stroke, to improve your fitness and lose weight or to train for an event.
• If you have made it to adulthood without learning to swim, it is never too late to learn.
• We offer adult swimming lessons from beginner to stroke correction and technique. No matter what your age, you can learn to swim and gain confidence in the water.
• Lessons are 30 minutes and done in groups of 2, 3 or 4 depending on ability.
• There are separate change rooms for women and men.

• If you are working parents and struggle with time to take your children to swimming, we offer swimming lessons through nursery schools in the area.
• This is a morning program. We fetch the children from school and return them after their lesson.
• The nursery school swimming lessons follow the Learn to Swim program.
• We have our own bus. Our driver has a PDP licence. Safety is our main focus and each child has their own seat and safety belt.
• We have an open door policy and you are welcome to watch your child’s lesson.
